Training program for newcomers on social assistance

If you are a newcomer on social assistance who is looking for customer service work, the 18-week training program Connections might be for you. It consists of 12 weeks of in-class training in Intermediate computers (no prior experience necessary), Customer Service Excellence and Business English, followed by a six-week co-op placement. You also receive continued support and professional guidance by a job developer upon completion of the course. The next session begins Aug. 27.
