Life science bridging program

Are you an internationally educated professional with a background in biology, chemistry, bio-chemistry, or related sciences and engineering? If so, consider the Certificate in Life Science Enterprise bridging program. To earn the certificate you must take the following courses:

  • Employment in Life Sciences
  • Good Manufacturing Practice & Good Laboratory Practice
  • Effective Communication and Negotiation

Attend a free information session to learn more about the financial assistance available through the Ontario Bridging Participant Assistance Program. Sessions will be held Aug, 8 and 13 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the U of T Mississauga, Davis Bldg., Faculty Club, Rm. 3140, 3359 Mississauga Rd. N. Do I need to be on LinkedIn?

Question: 

I’ll be honest — I really dislike the idea of LinkedIn but everyone says that I need to be on it in order to increase my chances of finding work. I keep getting invited too — why does this continue to happen?! What’s your take on LinkedIn, and if I have to do it, how do I get started?
