Friday, July 13, 2012
Check out the Globe and Mail’s feature Your say: Students tell us how they're surviving on summer job earnings in which 19 students talk about how they’re making out this summer in terms of employment. Some are doing rather well, like the “bear guardian” at Banff, or the student working full-time in labour market policy and planning who invests his savings in the stock market. Not surprisingly, given the high youth unemployment rate (around 14 or 15 per cent), others are scrambling to find a summer job.
