90-Day Job Challenge

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

The Centre for Education & Training (CET) is launching the 90-Day Job Challenge in September to empower unemployed job-seekers and provide them with the required tools to compete in this competitive job market. “Networking your way to employment may sound like a cliché, but it is important to make the right connections to succeed,” says Moya MacKinnon, director of Employment & Newcomer Services. “Success is not only linked to making connections, but it is also linked to how effective you are in delivering your brand to a prospective employer.” During the 90 days, CET staff will help job seekers brand their image, discover effective networking and leverage their skills online. Clients will be able to keep track of activities and match them against job search goals and employment objectives.
